More than 400 people came to our "No More Hiroshima“ Charity Concert for IPPNW (International Physician for the Preventing of Nuclear War) and made the donation in total,
Euro 2,525.84.

The high school students from Iwate, north Japan, the disaster stricken area of the earth quick and tsunami in 2011, who are visiting now Berlin as Tsubasa Project by "Kizuna Berlin" helped us to collect this donation.
All of this amount will be handed over to IPPNW through our cosponsor, IPPNW-Concert.

The donation collected at the charity concert on May 10, 2016 in the Auen Church Berlin as well as given to us until June 10, 2016 counted in total € 3,537.- .
On June 17, 2016 we visited Heisei College of Music and handed over this donation to Mr. Keizo Ideta, President, and Mr. Seiji Nakamura, Secretary General. All of your warm heart of Berlin has been transferred to Kumamoto.

The Primiere Concert of the „Concerto for Marimba”, with big success

The premiere concert of the „Concerto for Marimba” originally composed by Mr. Ohad Ben-Ari under the contract with Filia GmbH and dedicated to Ms. Ria Ideta was held on September 21, 2014 at Suginami Koukaido in Tokyo with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Kazuki Yamada.
Ms. Ideta showed her elegant and powerful performance based on the certain technics playing the work by Mr. Ben-Ari characterized with motif full of variety and colorful tone. Standing ovation by the audience did not know its end.
As Maestro Yamada explained in his speech to the audience, both of these artists will be more famous in Japan as well as in the world.

Under the contract with Filia GmbH, Mr. Ohad Ben-Ari, Pianist and composer in Berlin, completed his work of composing „Concerto for Marimba“.
This new original work is dedicated to Ms. Ria Ideta, Japanese Marimba player, and the premiere concert will be performed on Suday, September 21, 2014 at Suginami Koukaido in Tokyo with „the Japan Philharmonic Orchstra conducted by Maestro Kazuki Yamada. Concert will start at 3:00 pm. (Hall open at 2:30.)

Piano Recital for Left Hand by Izumi Tateno

The piano recital by Mr. Izumi Tateno held on Wednesday, 25th of June 2014 in the Chamber Music Hall of Berliner Philharmonie was visited by over 700 guests and achieved a big success. After Mr. Tateno played as his second encore „Caccini’s Ave Maria“ arranged by Mr. Takashi Yoshimatsu for left hand pianist the whole audience gave him a standing ovation.
At the reception directly after the recital invited by the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Takeshi Nakano, visited by also many guests, Mr. Ambassador named especially us, Filia GmbH, and expressed his thanks to us in his speech to toast. We thank you all, especially the staffs of the Japanese Embassy for helping and supporting us.


Commission of Composing a Concerto for Marimba and Symphonic Orchestra

Filia GmbH officially concluded a commissioning agreement with Mr. Ohad Ben-Ari, a pianist and composer living in Berlin, for composing an original work.

The premiere of this work is planned to be performed on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Suginami Koukaidou in Tokyo with “the Japan Philharmonic Orchetra” to be conducted by Maestro Kazuki Yamada.
